Speaking to , Petit said: "Jack Grealish has lost his position with the national team and he has lost the confidence of Pep Guardiola. Since Man City won the Treble, his behaviour during the celebrations and with alcohol was too much. I think he earned a place in the starting XI but he needed to show commitment and desire to keep it.
"You have to show discipline and I don’t think Grealish did that. He has talent and great ability, but I think he needs to be more mentally mature when you play for top club and earn so much money. With his talent, he should be among the best players in the Premier League every season, I think it’s a commitment issue."
