Huijsen has impressed in his debut season with the Cherries, having joined from Juventus last year. The centre-back is expected to leave at the end of the campaign, with Chelsea said to be leading the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle and Real Madrid in the race to land him.

Bayern are also in the frame to buy the Spain international as they see him as an affordable asset to strengthen their back line, reports. Due to a clause in his contract, he can leave Bournemouth for just £50 million ($67m) and the report adds that it can be paid in three instalments, making it easier for the top teams to afford.

Several teams have already started negotiations over a deal for the 20-year-old, but no decision has been made so far. Huijsen has cemented his place in the Bournemouth starting XI, making 31 appearances in all competitions.
