According to a new report from The Sun, Newcastle United are set to battle Leicester City for the seemingly coveted signature of Brentford star Said Benrahma.
Both Premier League outfits are willing to pay £15m for the Algerian winger, who has helped the Bees climb into fifth spot in the Championship table in the ongoing campaign.
But if the same report is to be believed, the 24-year-old is also on the radar of some other teams as his performances have made him into a rather interesting prospect.

Interestingly enough, one of the fans even compared him to none other than Riyad Mahrez, the Manchester City star, as he believes Benrahma could follow in his footsteps.
And even though the report does mention Newcastle are willing to table £15m to land their target, some of the fans were actually discussing how the player would be a bargain even if they had to pay as much as £20m to secure his signature.
One fan even said that he’d be surprised if Brentford didn’t ask for that much in the first place.
