Following his departure from Tottenham Hotspur in August, the England captain has had an incredible start to life in Germany. In just 19 games for the Bavarian giants, Kane has already broken Bundesliga records and scored 22 goals and layed on seven assists. Despite Bayern's comfortable path to the next round after winning Group A, Tuchel will not bench his star striker, as he praised the Englishman and declared his happiness at having signed him.

Tuchel told reporters on Monday: "Every fan wants Harry [Kane] to play in their team. We are very proud that we were able to sign Harry. He's a great personality and a great role model, a great player. He scores a lot of goals and will be very happy to play here tomorrow. It’s a big story that we brought the England captain, your [to the English media] striker, to Germany."
WHAT TUCHEL SAID ABOUT MAN UTD
Tuchel also talked about Tuesday's opponents, as well as the difficult situation his opposite number faces. The German added: "I feel for all colleagues. Sometimes it is difficult and challenging. I know what it's like to manage big clubs. Sometimes you feel that a club is not developing as quickly as you would like. We have to bring a lot of energy tomorrow to survive here. I'm convinced that United want and will fight back.
"I understand that some people [referring to the Galatasaray coach] thought that against Copenhagen it looked like we weren't throwing everything into it [Bayern drew 1-1]. But when you sign for Bayern or United, you sign to give 100 per cent every day. When you wear the Bayern Munich jersey, you behave like champions, there's no other way. We have high expectations, even if we are always under pressure. United will give everything tomorrow to get through. But we expect a top performance from us. I hope we can match United's enthusiasm and energy, which I'm sure they'll bring to the game."
Getty THE BIGGER PICTURE
United, who were strongly linked with Kane prior to his move to Germany, are struggling following a disastrous European campaign. With just one victory in their five group matches and 14 goals conceded, Erik ten Hag's team is now dependent on other outcomes in order to advance. The Manchester giants would still require a draw between Copenhagen and Galatasaray in the other game in the group, even if they defeated Bayern on Tuesday night.
