Moyes has come under pressure at West Ham after an underwhelming season with the Premier League side. The Scot's team have suffered 13 losses and sit down in ninth place in the table after being hammered 5-0 by Chelsea last time out in the English top flight. Sporting boss Ruben Amorim had been linked with a move to the East London club but Lopetegui now looks set to replace Moyes.

Lopetegui had also received interest from German giants Bayern Munich, who are set to part ways with Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season, according to the report. The Bavarians made an approach on Monday morning but the Spanish coach has his eyes set on the West Ham job and will stick with his choice.
WHAT NEXT FOR WEST HAM?
The Hammers will bid farewell to Moyes in their last two games of the season as they take on two teams at different ends of the table. Next up is a clash with Luton Town on Saturday, May 11, before a trip to title-chasing Manchester City.
