Kane looked dejected on the pitchside after the last-minute equaliser, but as per Bundesliga rules, the star striker ideally should not have been on the pitchside immediately after the match. Per BILD, DFL laws suggest that a suspended player cannot be on the pitch 'half an hour before kickoff and half an hour after the final whistle'. However, an exception was made for the ex-Tottenham forward so he could celebrate his first-ever trophy in professional football.
